Pet's Story or Bio
We went to Guapo’s in shirlington for margaritas and came home with Elmer. While we were sitting on the patio this gorgeous GSD walked by with a vest on that said “Adopt Me”. We went straight to AWLA and we brought him home two days later.
We renamed him after my husband said “We should name him Elmer after Elmer’s Glue because he is stuck to me.” Elmer still goes everywhere his Dad goes. EVERYWHERE!
Elmer is a gentle giant. 100 pounds of love, goofiness and companionship. We are so fortunate to have found him. Thanks AWLA for all you did for Elmer and all of the other babies looking for new families.
