Your Pet's Story or Bio
Sophia, formerly known as Autymn, was the oldest cat in the AWLA shelter she found her forever home in October 2016. She's a special cat that makes her Mom's day, everyday! Sophia loves to visit the 2nd floor balcony for fresh air, and waits patiently at the balcony door when she's ready to come back inside. She also loves her new home in Fairlington, especially the wide windows to lay in and watch the squirrels in the parking lot below. Sophia is a talker at 9 years young, exercises by chasing ping pong balls and enjoys playing with bird feathers her Mom picks up on walks around the neighborhood. She has her own catnip plant on the balcony which had to become a hanging plant in order to grow and survive the frequent kitty imbibing. Sophia especially likes the catnip blooms!
