Potato was adopted from AWLA October 2011. He was 10 years old at the time. Potato was hard to place because he is afraid of hands and doesn't like to be touched, picked-up, or reached for, and he was already a senior. Potato is now 16 years old and still doesn't like to be touched, picked up, or reached for but... with enough treats and distraction we accomplish many things, like getting a tie on him for the photo. Potato is a loving dog and full of charm. His favorite things are food, walking, and playing with other dogs. Potato has brought a lot of joy to our lives and has taught us the art of patience. We are thankful for the shelters like AWLA that take in the hard to place dogs and make the extra effort to find them a home. Lucky Potato!
