Your Pet's Story or Bio
Charlie is a fun-loving Goldendoodle senior at almost 12 years old. He has done it all, from Certified Therapy dog, Reading program dog, foster dog for kittens and agility for fun. His nickname was Twinkle Toes in his agility class since he was the biggest and most agile despite his size, at a mere 105 pounds. Now retired, his new mission in life is teaching our 18 month old grandson to love and to take care of all animals - yes, even the cat! His current passions include spending time with family, walking for miles around Old Town visiting all the biscuit stops, enthusiastically greeting all his fellow dog friends with a hearty bark , playing ball in the park, and sitting next to his grand boy's highchair - for cleanup duty! His love of life and enthusiastic outlook is contagious and while he may be a bit slower and not quite the Twinkle Toes of his youth, the joy he brings to his family and to everyone he meets is a gift to us all. He encourages us stop and smell the flowers every day.
