Your Pet's Story or Bio
Hi! I’m Benji, a 5 lb terrier. I just had a birthday and turned 2 years old. I’d love to share my story with you. You see, I had a bit of a rough start. I was born with a condition called Medial Luxating Patellas in my hind legs, causing my knees to shift out of place when I walked. I ended up in a shelter at just a few months old and through a transfer found my way to the AWLA. Through the generous community and the kindness of the AWLA I was able to have surgery on both of my legs to help me walk and run without pain. It has been a year since my first surgery and oh, you should see me go now! My favorite things are chewing on my toys and chasing my 85lb brother. Check out my video to see me run!
