A little about me...
I met Corrina at an Angels Among Us Event in Smyrna in 2015, it was immediately love at first sight. Angels believes she may have been used for breeding prior to being dumped, so she didn't start out life with a lot of love. When I got her she was 11 years young (we think) and had just recovered from heart worms, pneumonia, an ear infection, and was suffering from hot spots and bad skin. She was so shy at first, but quickly decided what was mine, was also hers. Within a few months of sleeping in the bed, snuggling on the couch, and overall running things, she began to heal and become her feisty self. She has been with me through grad school, moves, new jobs, vacations etc. She enjoyed sand for the first time last year, and really enjoys hiking/camping as long as someone can hold her when she gets tired. She's the most special thing that's ever happened to me and I love her deeply. Corrina is a pro-snuggler as most Dachshund or Chihuahua parents can attest. She loves to lay in the sun (on a blanket or bed of course) and enjoys burrowing in covers on the couch or bed to nap away the day. You really couldn't find a dog more ready to Snuggle in Place!
