Penny's mom, a very pregnant underweight Siamese mix, wandered onto our porch one day and never left. The 6 kittens were born on Friday the 13th (incidentally, my husband's birthday). I fell for this one pretty much from day one. When everyone else was re-homed a few months later, Penny stayed.
