Penny started out as a feral in a litter of kittens that chose my grandfathers back porch as their home. All of them were taken to a shelter but she was deemed unfit to adopt and was brought back to my grandfather. She became his side kick and was always by his side. When he moved in with my parents she ended up coming with him and took care of him for the last two years of his life. Now her person is my mom and she takes just as good care of her.
