Jake was anonymously introduced to the neighborhood when he, as a kitten, was thrown from a passing car. One look into those adorable blues eyes, and I was hooked. In this photo, he seems to be taking advantage of the coolness of the splash block, or it might just be evidence of a recent, fierce spring storm when it rained "cats and dogs".
