Your Pet's Story or Bio
After saying a painful goodbye to two furbabies in close proximity 2 years ago, we thought we would never have another dog. But after time had passed and our loss became easier to bear, we decided to give a loving home to a senior dog who otherwise would probably spend the rest of her life in a shelter.
Then we met Sweetie (previously known as Monday) at the Allegany County Animal Shelter.
We thought we would be filling a void in her life. Little did we know that it was she who would fill the void in ours.
We gave her the name Sweetie, because it so accurately describes her! She has become such a loving member of our family.
We hope that others will open their homes (and hearts) to a senior dog and reap the same rewards we have.
