While still mourning the loss of my wonderful cat, Gwylim, I finally got up the nerve to go to the ACAS. Lucy was the first kitten I saw when I walked in the door. She was in a cage with another little guy who was very sick. I passed her at first, wanting to see more of the cats. Needless to say, I came back to Lucy. From the moment I held her she was loving and sweet. She is the best cat ever! (Please don't tell her brother Sam I said that!) She has been very healing for me and truly is like a little person. She watches TV and reacts, she talks to the birdies out our windows, and she knows how to open things that she shouldn't! I am beyond grateful to have this baby girl in my life.
