Buddy was found running along I-68 and was picked up by animal control. He was shared as a "found dog" on Facebook but nobody claimed this adorable face. I went to Paws for Christmas at the Allegany Animal Shelter and there he was, anxious to be left out of his crate and wanting to play. As soon as I took him outside he was the happiest dog alive. At that point was when I decided he needed to come home with me. My dad had just recently lost his dog to old age not too long before I brought Buddy home, so he was the perfect gift for my dad. At first he was leery having a new dog, but now they are buddy's (hence the name) and they do everything together. Buddy now has a best friend, a Golden Retriever named Bella, and is having a blast with life!
