Thor came from a reputable Breeder, however he was and still is a very spunky guy and thinks he can take on anything. While playing with older sisters at 8 weeks old he had his back left leg broken in half. The Breeder knew nobody would take him, but I said I would, and take care of him, He had a splint on until the end of Oct. We carried him everywhere and did PT with him and lots of medical attention for infection (from the splint as he grew) his leg isn't perfect, and he has occasional dropfoot. But he is the most loved Samoyed here. He still thinks at times we are going to carry his 55lb furry butt upstairs, and you find him chasing birds. He does have arthritis from it, but again don't let it fool you. He can move, watch out for his herding moves!
