Meet Sweet Pea! She was rescued by ACAS from a local hoarding situation - trapped in a house w 32 other dogs - yup, she's a 'lucky 33'.

As a volunteer at the shelter, I gave several of them a bath the evening they arrived. What a sight she was! I remember this girl because she had only one ear and most of her coat was missing. She's also blind. By fate, less than 2 weeks later, this old gal made her way to my home. I fell in love instantly!

With a steady supply of food, water, fresh air, reassurance and unconditional love, she has flourished. As heartbreaking as her previous life must have been, I sure hope she now knows she is safe and loved beyond measure.

I wouldn't trade this shelter pup for a million dollars!
