Cailey was a street dog when we noticed her. She had been out there for months and actually dug a little den in a wooded area behind the houses. One day we went to "capture" her and she was gone, she had just been picked up by the shelter. Literally raced to the shelter to say if no one claims her I want her. She was feral and did not do well at all in the shelter and was deemed not adoptable.....long story short, I again raced to the shelter and sat myself down and would not leave the shelter unless it was with her. Going strong on 8 wonderful years since her "gotcha day" as my big red-headed furbaby she will never be without a forever home and is the sweetest girl ever! (she was rescued from the old Allegany County Shelter).
