I volunteered at the Animal Shelters Barktober event..not intending to bring home an animal until I saw sweet Mikey who was half my size and had already spent a whole 3 years in the shelter already I just knew I just had to have him! After some convincing to my mom that I absolutely MUST bring Mikey home with me, I was taking him to his forever home! We were told he shouldn't be with other animals until a stray dog and kitten showed up at our home and Mikey took a liking to them! Little did anybody know we would end up with the most protective, sweetest and love able dog 2 years later along with his two "adopted" siblings which he gets along with so well! Who knew Mikey was the one who truly adopted my family. 💕🐶
