Socks was abandoned along with four sibling sisters near the WMCA on Kelly Road almost 2 years ago. They were all frightened, bedraggled and totally unsocialized. The first time I put him on a leash, he spun and alligator-rolled so much that I finally had to pick him up. I brought him and two of his sisters home to help them learn about being in a family. Socks' sisters went to rescue to be adopted a few months later. I couldn't bear to part with this boy. He has a big piece of my heart, and loves walks while wearing his favorite sweater.
