A bout of insomnia led me to Olivia, a lovely white female Boxer, on the web page of a very dedicated volunteer animal rescue organization in the Northern Neck. I made a trip south to meet her knowing full well she was coming home with me. She was a pretty sick girl who needed good vet care, good food and plenty of love. We were able to provide all three, and in return Olivia gave herself over completely to every attention we offered. I honestly believe some universe power kept me awake the night I found her.
