Hi! I am Sophie, a red piebald miniature dachshund. I am thrilled to participate in the 2015 Calendar Contest.

Looking at my picture, it’s hard to believe that I am thirteen years old! I really don’t feel that old. I still run and play with my friends. I love the warmth of the sun and roll in the grass. I am especially fond of mud; my Mommy gets mad when I sneak a few bites!
What is the secret to my youthfulness? No.. it’s not the minerals in the mud!! I have a loving forever home! I exercise weekly at Fun Dog Fitness with Miss Linda. She encourages me to eat well and stay in shape. It’s like having a personal trainer!
