My partner and I can’t believe we lived without Pepe in our lives the last ten years since we met and adopted our boy from AWLA on 1/30/2016. Pepe is a very loving energetic 10 year old Apple Head Chihuahua with fabulous coloring and a great personality. He came to us with hypothyroidism, early glaucoma in the right eye and blindness in the other. His advanced dental disease was so advanced his few remaining teeth have already been removed. But my boy does not let that or anything else get him down. He awakes every morning with the sunniest disposition, barking, tail wagging with loads of kisses. It is so infectious you can’t help but become transformed into a good mood. With his ferocious bark he loves every chance to notify the neighborhood he is not a dog to be ignored or messed with (LOL).
