Your Pet's Story or Bio
Maggie is a mix of Golden Retriever, German Shepherd and Saint Bernard. She is large in size with a loving heart to match. Maggie is so gentle and has the sweetest disposition. On June 18th she celebrated her 11th birthday with her annual party which included several of her many doggie friends and owners along with treats and playtime. We saw Maggie's picture on the Harrisonburg SPCA website and fell in love with her immediately. She became a special member of our family at nine months old when we adopted her. We are avid hikers and one of Maggie's great accomplishments was climbing Mt. Washington in New Hampshire up and down, the highest peak in the North East at 6288 Ft, elevation. She is a wonderful companion and we love her dearly.
