Ella is a hound mix who was rescued in South Carolina. After traveling to DC, she met her parents Katie and Max and it was love at first sight -- for Katie and Max that is. Ella has severe anxiety, and was terrified of absolutely everything, including her new parents. Since her adoption, Ella has come out of her shell -- she loves her family, her roommates (AWLA staff member Kat and her husband), and her cousin/BFF Bailey. While she is still scared of most things (walks, men, things on wheels, things that make noise, etc.) Ella is a very happy dog who likes snuggling with toys and spending evenings in her Thundershirt. Her favorite TV show is Bob's Burgers, and she is definitely a Tina.
