Fate. Serendipity. Luck. Perhaps all three! A Chihuahua at the age of nine, I was taken to the shelter, given up for adoption as I was replaced in my home by a newborn child. Through my anxious journey- not knowing what the future held for me this late in life- I was fortunate to have caring people look out for me; most notably was my foster mother. Unbeknownst to me, there was an owner of another aging Chihuahua who could not stop reviewing my pictures and story on the shelter's Facebook page. After two weeks, that owner scheduled an appointment to meet me. In less than five minutes we knew we were meant to be together. I am so so happy! I am forever thankful for a loving home and for opportunities, like this one, to raise money for other sheltered animals. Vote for me, Miles the rescued Chihuahua!
