A little about me...
We adopted Peacoat when he was 9 years old and we will soon be celebrating his 15th birthday! He was very thin, unkempt, and considered a senior, which is the very reason we wanted to give him a forever home. After warming up to us we discovered a sweet, loving, grateful, and sometimes sneaky soul. It took some time to get him to a healthy weight (even after several teeth were removed due to years of neglect). Peacoat says he is "happy my family decided on a senior dog and training my humans is coming along nicely." Peacoat also wants to remind everybody that senior dogs want to be loved and cared for just as much as younger dogs do.
