Do you believe in fate? I am nominating Peaches on behalf of my 82 y/o mother, Alice, who wishes to see her “furever” friend on the Miskatonic beer can. A true “Godwink” story that we would like to share. My moms cat Ringo passed away and she was heartbroken. She was in the process of searching shelters when my friend told me about a cat that needed a new home because the cat was afraid of the dogs in the house. Without my mom knowing, I went to meet this cat to see if she would be a good fit for my mom. She was absolutely adorable. I loved her color, markings, and her stunning eyes. When I asked what her name was , the lady said, “Peaches.” I couldn’t believe it! My moms childhood best friend recently died while walking her dog, and she was struck by a car. My mom was devastated. My mom’s friends name was “Peachie.” I immediately packed Peaches up and took her to my mother’s house and told her the story. My mom kept her. I truly believe Peachie wanted my mom to have this cat. Peaches is a wonderful companion for my mother and brings her great joy. She asked me to enter her in the contest this year because she feels the contest supports a great cause and ofcourse she would love to see Peaches on a beer can! Thank You!
