Poppy Kate was a puppy mill breeder for the emtirety of her life. Unfortunately, as puppy millers are notorious for, she received no love, no compassion, no vet care. She spent years kept in a cage that was entirely too small, so her spine grew incredibly curved, and she struggles to walk. Her G.I. system is a hot mess, and she is on multiple medications a day, plus has dietary restrictions so that we can ensure that she stays regular. She has been so sick from her G.I. issues that she spent multiple days in intensive care with the rescue that saved her, and racked up $10,000 in vet bills. Through it all, Poppy Kate remains sweet, loving, playful, stubborn, slightly naughty, and food motivated. She is the most perfect bulldog ever.
