Pet's Story or Bio
Our Wesley was born blind and deaf to an irresponsible Alabama breeder who took him to his Vet to be put down. The Vet rescued him and after contacting Alabama Rescue Relay, placed Wesley into the loving hands of their volunteer, Gale Sittig. Through her research, she found Victoria Marshman at Appalachian Great Pyrenees Rescue. Gale, with fluff ball Wesley on her lap, and her husband drove 15 hours to hand deliver Wesley. Our family fell in love at-first-sight and Wesley now resides in western Hanover County, Virginia.
Living in the country, Wesley and his brother love riding in the truck, walking the wooded trails, and playing in the water. Wesley lays down in the grass whenever he decides that we have walked enough.
Wesley is gregarious, stubborn, smart and is a constant ambassador educating us all of the abilities held by those with special needs.
Wesley is a great big , fluffy bundle of love!
