Ski
Pet's Story or Bio
We spent several weekends at the AGPR kennels meeting and walking many dogs. They are all so gorgeous, sweet and special in their own way and while the kids and I were looking for a more calm family pet, my husband connected instantly with one of the wildest ones there. He was out in the open run area playing and tossing a toy all by himself -- and having the best time. He came to the fence to greet us and his face was truly one the cutest we've ever seen, though he had trouble written all over him! He loved his walks down the kennel driveway and his energy matched John's; Ski was literally John's personality in a polar bear's body. Each time we left, John would stall and find a reason to go back to Ski's kennel one last time...apparently to promise him we'd be back to get him soon. And in February, we finally did. He's still wild, but so lovable - even when he steals your blanket, chews your baseball hat and pins you down with his massive paws so you won't stop cuddling him. He's a mess.
