A little about me...
Bruin came to us from AASR in 2014 his name was Jaxx then. I had a deposit on a full blood shepherd and saw his pic. I just knew he was going to be my best friend and adopted him instead. They say when you see your soul dog you just know. I found out I was pregnant when he came home so I worked a lot with him to ensure he would be a good boy with a baby. He’s raised kids, helped train other foster dogs, helped protect chickens, became great friends with a house rooster named jimmy, pulled my son around on sleds in the winter and is like the mayor of the neighborhood and it’s not uncommon for him to wander over to get his hot dog Fresh off the grill (they love him). Now he is a retired couch potato that is almost 12. He does still think he is a teenager sometimes with the antics he pulls, but we love this old man. He’s always got something to say and feels everyone he meets wants to pet him. Best pic that suits his personality!
