A little about me...
My name is Otto (formerly Cowboy) and I was rescued by AASR 3.5 years ago from a tiny 4x4 pen with no shelter of any kind, not even a tarp to block the wind. It was 23 degrees and raining and all I could do was stand in the rain and shiver. The ground under the pen I was in had about 2 inches of water. I had previously dug a hole to get in to escape the wind, but that too had filled with water too so I had no options but just to stand there and freeze. AASR found and saved me - treating me for heart worms and whisking me up to Massachusetts, where more kind humans took good care of me for a week until my new family came to meet me, and took me home on the spot! I was a very sad and shy boy at first, it was very hard to trust humans again after being treated so badly, but I quickly came out of my shell thanks to my big sister Cocoa, and now I’m the sweetest, most loving mama’s boy! Soon I’m going to be the best big brother to my human little sister on the way!
