Why should your pet be America’s Next Top Mutt?
Figment and Yeti are southern siblings, originally born in Georgia. At a year old, they ended up at a rural animal shelter - a place with an overwhelming number of intakes and devastatingly low adoption numbers. Not only are these Pittie mixes attached at the hip, but Yeti is deaf and Figment tends to be quite shy. They didn't have a snowball's chance in... well, Georgia... of getting out of that place, let alone together.

Fortunately, Deaf Dogs Rock (a deaf dog advocacy group) and Peach County Animal Rescue stepped in and changed their fate. We found their listing online and took a weekend road trip to meet and adopt them both.

They are the epitome of great dogs who beat the odds solely because of the dedication of volunteers who know that every homeless animal deserves a chance. I only wish they all could be so lucky!
