A little about me...
We fostered Jack from A&B and learned the hard way that setters are very prey driven. He escaped 5 times and was retrieved from the golf courses, chasing ducks on ponds and galloping miles thru the community, making friends and creating quite a reputation as the most wanted boy on our community Facebook page.
My husband, John, insisted that we not give up and he arranged some training and with lots of practice and patience, Jack magically became Mr Wonderful! We owned him for 10 months when John unexpectedly passed away, leaving me and Jack Benny to carry on without him. 2 and a half years later, Jack is very obedient and stays by my side constantly. Everyone knows that my dear John is still watching over my sweet Jack and me. A wonderful gift!
