A little about me...
Luca was surrendered at the local pound at the age of 2.5 years old, reason unknown. A friend, who knew I already had 2 Llewellin Setters at the time, tagged me on the pound’s facebook post about him. My heart melted and I sent my son to get him despite my husband’s disapproval. Two weeks later, Luca went to camp as he knew little to no commands. Our wonderful trainer transformed Luca into the best hunting dog we have ever had, and our other two Llews were pretty good! My husband sure loved having him then too. Needless to say, at 11.5 years, Luca has had a great life with us. He still hunts, goes to the lake in the summer, hunts in the fall, and now gets to winter somewhere warm with this retired couple from ND. Life is so good!
