A little about me...
It was one of those late night phone calls asking if we could pick up a dog before the weekend--it was Wednesday and a spot had opened up for mom and dad in a facility...Could we pick up their dog tomorrow? Arrangements were made and we brought our unexpected foster Katie home. She walked in and claimed us as her own. Bonding quickly with Banjo (our then 3 year old ES who mentors all our fosters), they enjoyed hanging out together. She was with us short of two years before cancer took her.

Senior dogs ask very little and give so much in return. I would not hesitate to take on a senior again. We miss you Katie girl! You are forever in my heart.
