A little about me...
As a puppy, Rei was raised by a loving family . However, at age 3, Rei tragically lost his owner. Because of his large size and spirited temperament, he was passed several times between potential owners. When he finally made his way to Above and Beyond, he was on medication for anxiety and had an unhealthy weight. He was caringly fostered for several months, taken off medications, and given a healthy diet. Rei gradually regained a healthy weight. In November 2022, he found his forever home in Lafayette, California on an acre property with lots and lots of other local trails for roaming. He has a wonderful disposition, is very loving and loyal, and endlessly playful. This photo was taken as he was tracking a squirrel, one of his very favorite activities.
