A little about me...
This is Adele. She is our rescue, believed to have been a puppy mill mama from Ohio. She was on deaths doorstep when a resident called a local rescue shelter to come get her before she expired in their front yard. They retrieved her, and kept her for two weeks to see if she was going to survive. We happened upon her by accident. She had mange, had recently had a litter and had/has bladder and respiratory issues. We (and our Vet office) Loved her back to better health. She is Quirky, has the Setter mannerisms that make her a delight to watch and be with. She is extremely maternal to other dogs. She licks the rain off of her fur-brother! We think she was released at about 5 yrs from her captors and left to fend for herself. She has been w us for the past 5 yrs. We were brought together by timing and enjoy every minute with her. This picture was taken the first time we saw her “point.” Another surprising feature. She loves to stalk and chase butterflies!!
