A little about me...
Rufus came to us from Above and Beyond. He is a foster fail. I'd been suffering from the loss of our 15 year old Springer some months before. I was heartbroken. After much searching and many tears, we got Rufus. I call him my "heart mender". He is a rescue from Turkey. He has evidence of a previously broken front leg. Some of his little front teeth are broken down from whatever he was chewing or eating before he came to us. I say he looks like a hockey player when he smiles.
There was a lot of frustration with this wild child of a setter. It took a lot of patience and support from my buddy with the rescue. Here we are more than two years later. He is a kind, loving, sometimes stubborn boy that fixed my sadness.
He is a beautiful boy.
