A little about me...
Humphrey is my first English Setter and first ever rescue dog. He's the one that started my passion for rescuing setters! I adopted him from a shelter in Kansas City where I used to volunteer when I found out he had been considered "unadoptable" due to severe hip dysplasia at 10 months of age. After I joined A&B years later, I found out that the rescue had been about to take him in when I decided to adopt him. He's now 12 years old and is the "old man" of my pack. Humphrey recently had surgery to amputate a tumor infected toe and has been diagnosed with amelanotic melanoma - an aggressive cancer. He's still limping a bit on land, but it hasn't slowed down his aquatic feats at all. There is nothing Humphrey loves more than jumping into the pool after his toy :-)
