Comet is an eight year old rescue from Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue. She was born in Oklahoma and fostered in North Jersey. I credit that long drive with making Comet a perfectly behaved passenger when traveling. Terribly shy when first adopted, she has evolved into a wonderful companion. She remains just timid enough with strangers to be considered a puppy by many on first meeting. We now live in Ft. Collins Colorado which is very "dog friendly". This means that she can go almost everywhere with us, which we all enjoy. One of her favorite trips is to the garden supply store where she loves to rub up against the bags of grass seed and lawn fertilizer. She usually draws a few onlookers. I guess it's like rolling in the grass for her. As pictured here, she also thoroughly enjoys a dip in the Poudre River on a hot summer day.
