We adopted Daisy Mae 3 yrs. ago when she was 4 yrs. old. All the way from
Oklahoma, she came to us in Virginia via relay-car transport across many
states, spending a night in Tennessee. As soon as she saw us, she ran over
and jumped in our pick-up, got in the tail bed, sat down and looked at us as
if to say, "Ok, let's go home now." While she has some mental issues, she is
our sweet, sweet girl-never even complaining when accidently step on a
part of her--she likes to sneak up and lay down quietly behind us. She loves
to tear up newspapers and boxes, so this shot of her in a box is so natural
to her tastes.
