Topper was found as a stray in the I-90 highway median near Ashtabula, OH, and rescued by ACES. He was collared, but not tagged or microchipped. His owner could not be located. We fostered him for 3 months, then he went to his "furever" home in NH. Sadly, his furever dad developed a life-threatening infection, and as he was dying, asked us to take Topper back. We rescued Topper the second time in June 2009.
