Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
We were not looking to adopt a dog when we met Bear. He was a transport that was cut short due to medical issues. He stayed with us for a week to recover and that's all it took for me to fall in love.
Although we aren't sure what Bear's life was prior to living with us. We were told he was kept outside in a pen and used for hunting and possibly breeding. When we got Bear everything in the house was new to him. He was afraid of the steps and all the sounds that you hear in a home. But as you can see he has adjusted. He loves swimming and lounging and he is the sweetest dog. He is laying on my lap as I type this. Thank you to A&B for pulling him from the shelter and allowing me to be a part of the transport for him.
I can't imagine my life without Bear and I am thankful that I don't have to.
