I rescued Daisy Mae from Louisiana through Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue on August 29th, 2009! On the initial adoption vet examination, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I decided to put her through 2 separate mastectomy surgeries to save her. She handled both surgeries in the thros of her first Pennsylvania winter like a total trooper! She didn't know me from Adam and no matter what I put her through, she just kept loving me and trusting me! I am thrilled to say five years later she is happy and healthy and going strong! She is an amazing, sweet, loyal princess that has brought me such joy! Her favorite past time is doing laps in my pool. - Errr...Excuse me - Daisy's pool!
