We adopted Comet, then Emily, in November of 2010. She was very timid with strangers when we first brought her home but her sweet and funny personality now shines through. We live in Colorado, where dogs can go just about anywhere, and she is welcomed by name at many local stores. Comet can run like the wind and she will run just for the sake of running, especially if there is snow on the ground. Sometimes this is too much of a good thing and she will just lay down to rest on the way home. People often ask how old my puppy is and are surprised when I tell them she is four years old. I explain that four is only six months in Comet years.
We are so happy we were able to find her through Above and Beyond.
