Oliver is a 2 years young field Setter who was dumped at a shelter in Kansas. He was completely emaciated and every bone in his body showed. He was pulled by Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue and transported to SC for fostering. He was with his foster family for 4 months and gradually began putting weight on, getting back to good health, and looking much better. In December '16 a family from MI was approved to adopt Oliver. His transport was arranged and he went on a 2 day journey. Oliver thought he found his furever home, but after 2 weeks his new family decided he wasn't what they wanted and they decided to return him to the rescue group. Instead they wanted an English Setter puppy! On Oliver's transport back to SC everyone fell in love with him along the way. My family was his overnight host and I was his Sunday morning driver on day 2 of his transport. While at our home he was so well behaved and got along great with our other dogs. A week after he returned to SC my family decided we wanted Oliver back as a permanent family member. He is such a good boy, he's gained some more weight, and as you can see he's looking VERY handsome. Those MI adopters don't know what they're missing. Our win, their loss for sure!
