Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
In Winston' s short 2 years he had been bounced in and out of 3 homes and due to his deafness, was just misunderstood. His 4th home was his wonderful foster Diann and Larry who were instrumental finding his 5th and final home, our home. He has recently celebrated his 3rd birthday in his forever home which he shares with his momma, 7 year old human playmate who he just adores and a 9 year old Golden Retriever cuddler who sleeps outside his crate during the day to keep him company even though she would prefer the couch! Winston has been a welcome addition to our family after the sudden loss last summer of our Irish Setter to cancer. His loyalty and love far exceed what we ever could have imagined. He has so quickly won our hearts and we couldn't imagine our home without him. He brings so much joy and so much laughter into our home and he fills our hearts with his endless love, wet kisses, Winnie hugs and cuddles! We loved this picture of Winnie taken during the Blizzard of March 2017. Winnie LOVED the snow, digging tunnels through the two feet of snow in the back yard and popping up on the other side! He would enjoy throwing the snow in the air and just prancing through the snow. He was a true joy to watch as he expierienced one of nature's miracles! While we thought we were rescuing Winnie, Winnie rescued us! Adopt!♡♡
