Share your setter’s story and why he/she should be our next Cover Star!
Missy came to live with me last September. I was looking for an in-house companion, but she has been so much more. I have had English Setters for many many years. Missy and I were content to get to know each other, which happened quickly. Upon entering the house she had her favorite spot claimed within the hour. Now that the house is ‘hers’ she has her spots to keep an eye out for whatever activity interests her, and it didn’t take very long for us to “get into our groove”. Soon she was exploring our countryside on longer and longer leads with me. As she explored, I observed her natural instincts kicking in and looked forward to showing her how we would hunt together. She has become a wonderful hunting dog, and a first rate companion – all in less than a year. Can’t wait to see what our future holds
