Pet's Story or Bio
Mojo is a 3 year old flat-coat retriever who currently lives in Watertown,SD after being rescued in Phoenix, Arizona. He, along with 5 other dogs were being given away for free after their owner passed away. Family of the owner had taken the 6 dogs in their care, but only had one week to find them homes before they’d be evicted so they were desperate to “get rid of them.” 5 of the 6 dogs had found homes before the one week deadline, but Mojo had not so he travelled 1,000+ miles to SD in hopes of finding a forever home. His rescuer and foster fell in love with him so it didn’t take long for him to find a new loving home. Signs of previous abuse and malnourishment were obvious so it took him quite some time to adjust, but he is doing great!
