Jake was found as a stray in 2013, underweight and untrained, but now thanks to A&B, living the life he was meant to live! This is his 2nd year with mom, and has had a very eventful year so far. Mom and he went to a canine camp for a weekend getaway at a ranch, where he got to try a million different classes, from hunting, tracking, nosework, air scenting, dock diving, agility, and kayaking. He was the STAR pupil in hunting class (no worries, no animal was harmed during this training session which included live pigeons!), and his teacher said he showed great natural instinct to participate in hunting trials. His point was so beautiful that everyone was taking pictures, like he was a celebrity and they were all paparazzi. (From Jake's mom: "If that's not a star, I don't know what is!") Alas, his mom is not a hunter, so there will be no formal training in hunting, but that doesn't stop Jake from doing what he does best - pointing, stalking and chasing birds! His picture here shows him at his best during his daily morning walk.
