This contest is a unique way to celebrate your Golden while helping our rescue save this amazing breed and honor our adopted Goldens! So start searching for that perfect puparazzi shot and enter today!

Votes are $1 each with a $5 minimum. $5 will count for five votes, $20 will count for 20 votes, etc. Once you have entered, be sure to send the "share" link to your entry to friends and family so they can vote! More votes not only helps more abandoned, injured, and neglected Goldens in our community, it increases your chance to have your adopted Golden represent GRRNT in our 2025 Calendar.

The winning Golden will earn his or her place on the calendar cover. The next 12 runners-up will be the featured photo on the monthly calendar pages.


The photo contest entry fee is $25.00 per photo submission. Entry is limited to Golden Retrievers adopted at any time from GRRNT.

Photos may include more than one dog; do not include any people in your submitted photo. Images should be high resolution. Resolution of the image may limit its ability to be used in the calendar. Multiple pets may be included in the photo as long as at least one of the pets is a GRRNT alum. Submissions will be accepted online only from July 1- July 31, 2024. (Click for Rules of Contest)


Submissions will be accepted online only from July 1-July 31, 2024. Photos can be voted on by the public from the time of submission to July 31 for $1 per vote (minimum $5).

Voters are prompted to make a donation (minimum 5 votes) at the time of voting. Entries will receive one vote for every $1 donated during the voting process. After you submit your entry, you can ask friends and family to donate-to-vote by sending them the link for your entry or using the "Tell-A-Friend" form when you log in to your account on the Contest website. Keep in mind that you cannot combine votes from separate photos/entries.


First Place:

• Front cover of the GRRNT 2025 Calendar.
• Bragging rights and featured story on GRRNT social media pages.
• Winner receives five 2025 Calendars.

2^nd -5^th Places:

• The opportunity to select the month you wish to feature your dog.
• Winners receive two 2025 Calendars.

6^th -13^th Places:

• Placement of your dog on one of the remaining monthly calendar pages.
• Winners receive one 2025 Calendar.

Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. In this part of the calendar, you may submit ANY pet for your entry. That means cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, hamsters, goldfish, WHATEVER your pet is, they can be a star on the calendar day that you buy for them! Your pet's photo will appear on the calendar day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo, the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each reserved day is $10. This does NOT include a calendar, which can be ordered separately below.

Donations made through the GRRNT Calendar Contest and Online Voting donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Contact us for more information if a receipt is requested. Proceeds from the voting and calendar entries go to provide medical care for our Goldens and to support our unique Permanent Foster and Hospice program that allows dogs who are too ill or old to be adopted to live out their days in loving foster homes with all their medical expenses paid by GRRNT.
